71/365 Lotus Flower RIP Grace
Today Grace died. It was horrible. I feel so empty. Grace was just as much part of this family as my kids. We all loved her. She would sleep on Sheldon's bed and when he climbed into bed, especially winter, she would curl up with him!! She loved having her tummy scratched. She would go out for hours and come back with knots in her hair (she was semi-Persian) an mud every where. She knew that I would grab her and give her a quick wash. She ruled this house. Queen Bee. She had all four dogs and the other cats right where she wanted them. In Winter when it was very cold she would curl up in Bailey coat, he would not move until she got up. So many times you could see that he wanted to get up but he dare not disturb her.
RIP Grace, you were loved and you gave us unconditional love.
So sorry Kim. It's incredible how pets can become such a huge part of your family. My thoughts are with you. I'm so sorry.
ReplyDeleteThanks Samantha. We still miss her. When we buried her it was closure, which is what the kids needed. It helped them.
